STOKE Prior Parish Council is to set up a sub-committee to help organise celebrations to mark the Queen's golden jubilee next year.
Council members are seeking the involvement of organisations for the gala weekend, to take place in June, to celebrate the monarch's 50-year reign.
The village hall has been booked for the celebrations on Saturday June 2, while St Michael's Church will hold a golden day on Sunday.
