THE Redditch Advertiser's own Sarah Cowen will be swapping the buzz of the newsroom for the roar of the crowd when she takes part in the Dublin Marathon at the end of the month.
For sub-editor Sarah, aged 41, this will be her first attempt at the 26.6 miles distance, after completing four half-marathons - two in the last month.
Sarah was due to run in the Chicago Marathon at the beginning of October, but had to pull out because of the terrorist attacks on America.
Luckily the pair were able to transfer more than £1,000 of sponsorship to the Dublin event, the money going to Get Kids Going, a charity which provides sports wheelchairs to disabled children.
