YOUNGSTERS housed in temporary classrooms at a Redditch middle school could move into their new building in spring after revised plans were passed on Monday, writes Melina Cannon.
And no further building delays are anticipated at Ipsley Middle School after a bungle left one wall a metre higher than originally planned.
Councillors passed minor amendments to the plans subject to additions - windows facing Thruxton Close would be 'non-opening' and double glazed with acoustic frosted glass and Redditch councillors and residents would be consulted on landscaping plans.
County councillor Tom Wareing said the mistake was admitted at the planning and regulatory committee meeting and the amendments made were 'a retrospective application for planning approval.'
