I WOULD like to thank Transco for helping me to make some cash for charity.
I had a substantial bet with a family friend, that within a month of the council resurfacing Bilford/Astwood Road, someone would come along and dig it up - and Transco did just that, with very little prior warning, I might add.
This is happening quite often. Is it not time the council responsible had an understanding with these contractors way in advance and made sure they resurfaced the whole of the road and not just the area they worked on?
Oh, and by the way - my winnings went to a very good cause.
