A MAN suffered head and facial injuries after a serious assault in Wixford.
The incident happened some time in the evening on Friday, October 5, near The Fish Inn pub on the B4085.
A middle-aged man had been drinking in the pub when he saw two men attacking his car which was parked nearby.
When he approached the men and challenged them he was knocked to the floor and one of the offenders then stamped on his head. The two men left the scene and headed towards in Bidford on Avon.
The victim was taken to the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch with injuries to his head and face.
One of the men is described as being white, in his mid 20s, about 5ft 10ins, with a stubbly chin. He had curly brown hair which was closely cropped on top.
He was wearing a short-sleeved shirt with jeans and had a gold chain around his neck. There was no description of the second man.
