RESIDENTS are calling for permission for two houses to be built in Oversley Green, despite them being planned for Green Belt land.
The houses are to be built on the derelict Bridge End Service Station site which residents have been calling for something to be done about for years.
Although the Arden Area planning committee has said it would support the application, it has referred it to the Planning and Regulation Committee because it is a 'departure from the Local Plan'.
A Stratford Council report states: 'The proposed development of the site is considered to be inappropriate development in the Green Belt.'
