A 20-year-old man will appear before Mid-Warwickshire Magistrates today charged with the attempted theft of a charity box from a Studley chemist.
The man was caught by a member of staff at Porteous and Lindsay in High Street last Monday trying to make off with the box.
He was later arrested and charged.
In a separate incident a charity box was stolen from a chip shop in Studley's Alcester Road on October 5.
