POLICE are investigating a spate of vehicle crimes after two were stolen, the bonnet of another was snatched and a fourth was taken then abandoned, all during one night.
A red J registered Vauxhall Astra was stolen from Marlpool Drive, Southcrest, between 11.30pm on Thursday, October 11 and 5.45am, on Friday, October 12.
A blue Y registered Piaggio Scooter was snatched from Quibury Close, Winyates, between 8pm on Thursday and 3.45am on Friday.
A silver Volkswagen Golf was reported stolen and found abandoned on the A435 close to the junction of the M42.
Police said the Golf was reported by a number of passers-by because it had collided with the central barrier.
And the bonnet of a Ford Sierra was taken from Wharrington Close, Greenlands, between midnight and 7am on Friday.
