DEAR EDITOR -- K J Cooper, in a recent letter, has got it right (ref: Westlands estate).
Trent Close cannot even get a couple of 'No cycling' notices, never mind £1.5 million to do what we like with as Westlands has.
Amazingly the neighbouring housing association estate at Oakfields is plastered with notices all aimed at safety.
As Councillor Cook is head of the housing association no doubt this helps!
We are two of the many who have nearly been knocked down.
Hopefully the council is adequately insured when an accident occurs or have they managed to indemnify themselves in some way?
