DEAR EDITOR --- Hello to everyone in Bromsgro ve......America calling. I am a Bromsgrovian now living in New Hampshire and I was wondering after what happened here on September 11 if my fellow English people are doing the same as America. And that is loving and showing they love their country.

Every car including my own displays their flag, most of the houses do as well. It is total patriotism. I know a lot of you are going to say "well those Americans always go overboard with whatever they do" and in many respects I agree.

I'm English and proud of it and proud of my country. I have the Union flag on display in our home for all to see, and which I'm going to now put on my car alongside the star spangled banner.

What I'm trying to get at is, 'come on folks this is war' -- let's stand together and be proud of being English. Why shouldn't we display for all to see, why don't we have a flag day, or a British Veterans Day? If you too feel this way then come on, get your flags out and show the world that we are English.
