DEAR EDITOR -- I am writing to warn law-abiding citizens of Catshill to 'nail down' their flower pots and to secure their hanging baskets.
Two weeks ago I purchased some winter flowering pansies which were made up into a willow hanging basket.
I hung this up at lunch-time on Sunday, for it to be stolen by Monday morning! Is this a record?
I only hope that the chain will break on my hanging basket resulting in it falling on the light-fingered person's head!
