Far-reaching proposals to improve life in Alvechurch kick off with a public meeting next month, writes Melina Cannon.
Parish councillors approved the drawing up of a Parish Plan at a meeting last week.
The plan covers a wider scope than the Local Plan, featuring social services, recreational facilities and public transport as well as planning and development.
The meeting takes place at the village hall, Bear Hill, from 7.30pm on Wednesday, November 7.
