PARISH councillors are set to lobby for work to be carried out at an Alvechurch car park to make it safer for pedestrians.
The problem is at the entrance to the Tanyard Lane car park because the pavement is narrow and blocked by posts supporting a height restriction barrier.
Parish council clerk Gill Lungley said cars did not slow down at this point, which made pedestrians fear for their safety.
Councillors are to approach Bromsgrove Council, which owns the car park, to see what could be done.
Suggestions may include installing sleeping policemen and removing the height barrier.
