The draft programme for 2002 was read out and nominations for members willing to stand for committee were called as the next meeting in November will be the AGM.
A visit to Cutnall Green for a Christmas demonstration and supper is planned for December.
Speaker Mrs Pinfield delighted members with a demonstration of cloth sculpture with the aid of a wine bottle, some wire, padding, wool, cloth and wallpaper paste.
She created a Victorian lady and a king for a nativity scene. She was thanked by Rita Jordan.
Winners of the handmade Christmas card competition were Pauline and Rhona with Wyn and Rita joint third.
