ON October 2, the lecturer was Geoff Stone on an Island Odyssey.
The talk and photographs started on the Island of Skomer, where members saw many excellent sea bird shots, followed by a complete contrast, Hong Kong, with atmospheric pictures of boats and boat people along with very modern, tall buildings.
The highlight of the evening was a visit to the Galapagos Islands with views of volcanic landscapes, marine and land iguanas and excellent bird pictures.
