THE leaders of all four political groups of Worcester City Council have urged caution in the use of military action in the fight against terrorism.
In the statement read out at a council meeting on Tuesday, the leaders offered their support to the international coalition.
"The city council has already expressed its sympathy to the families and friends of victims of the terrorist attacks in America on September 11," the message reads.
"We hope our entire community supports the international coalition which has been built to fight the menace to world peace.
"We welcome the increase in humanitarian aid to the refugees created by the crisis and urge caution in the use of military action due to the dangers to innocent lives."
