PROMISING Perdiswell Park Golf Club junior Neil Doherty was among the winners from a busy month of competitions at the club.
He was victorious with John Byrne after shooting 42 points in the Worcester club's mixed pairs competition, which featured ladies and gentlemen and juniors and gentlemen pairings.
Cyril Misters and Chris Case were second and Brenda Kirkby and Mike Rixon third.
Ken Edwards won Perdiswell Park Golf Club's September midweek medal with a helter-skelter round of 88 including a mixture of pars and double bogies.
His nett 65 was good enough to edge into second place John Byrne who carded another nett 66 with the lowest gross of 76. Mike Donnelly was third with a nett 66.
In the ladies September 'Pennant' Pat Hill shot a 70 to pip Lady Captain Phyl Potts by one stroke.
The club's penultimate Wednesday medal was won by Cliff Hayes with a seven-under-par nett 27 for the nine hole competition.
Grahan Potts managed to get closest but still four shots adrift with a nett 31 to be in second place whilst Cyril Misters and Jim Daly with nett 33's claimed joint third spot.
The club's annual Texas Scramble was won by juniors Rob Munro, Keiron Tuckley and James Newman with a gross 62, three shots ahead of Chris Thompson, Roger Badham and Mick Donnelly.
Myvanwy Weaving, Neil Doherty and Vince Ballard were third with 67.
