STOURPORT has its very own charity "Dream Team" in the shape of four well-known men who are continuing to do their bit for town causes.
The four - town mayor Michael Grinnall, rotary club president Pete Roberts, carnival chairman James Greaves and Stourport Business Association chairman Russell Hinton - have each held positions in two or more of these groups.
They are all current rotary members, and the link suddenly hit them when Mr Roberts recently became the group's president. Michael Grinnall, Russell Hinton, Pete Roberts and James Greaves who are doing their bit for charity.
Mr Roberts, who is also chair of the Bridge Street and Riverside Traders' Association, chair of the Stourport Victorian Extravaganza and vice-chairman of Stourport Town Centre Management Forum, said: "It's been great how we have all held these positions in the various charities which work very hard to benefit and bring enjoyment to the people of Stourport.
"Each of us all have one thing in common which is to work hard to keep Stourport on the map and our folk entertained."
Mr Grinnall said: "I think knowing each other so well helps the effective running of these organisations and long may our dream team continue."
