SWIMMING: There were many double-event winners in the third Wyre Forest Swimming Club championship gala.
The first two sprint competitions for age 11 and over were held earlier in the summer.
Double-event winners included sisters Aimee and Jodie Cook at 9 years and 11 years.
Eight and under girls 25m freestyle: Helen Ingenthron, Paige Gainham, Chloe Keen; boys 25m breaststroke: Douglas Wilkie, Thomas Holmes, Liam Garbett.
Nine years girls 50m backstroke: A Cook, Jessica Smith, Eleanor Painter; girls 4 x 50m individual medley: A Cook; boys 50m butterfly: Robert Smith, Jack Dyer, Harry Hoult; boys 200m backstroke: R Smith, Callum Wilson, James Lippitt.
10 years girls 50m backstroke: Ellis Ward-Brennan, Lindsay Fleming, Charlotte Hutchinson; girls 4 x 50m individual medley: Hutchinson, Ward-Brennan, Fleming; boys 50m butterfly: Oliver Wilkie, Marcus Griffiths, Edward Ruscoe; boys 200m backstroke: Griffiths, Ruscoe.
11 years girls 100m freestyle: J Cook, Patricia Webb, Hannah Terry; girls 4 x 50m individual medley: J Cook, Webb, Terry; boys 100m breaststroke: Chris Wildgust, Ross Morton, Paul Ingenthron; boys 200m backstroke: Peter Macbeth, Ingenthron, Morton.

17 and over girls 100m freestyle: Donna Wilson, Shelley Holden, Emma Wainwright; girls 4 x 50m individual medley: Wilson, Holden, Nemeka King; boys 100m breaststroke: Jeremy Short, Brett Webster, Godfrey Short; boys 200m backstroke: J Short, G Short, Webster.
Two Forest teams swam in the Speedo League first round for 11 years upwards.
The A team were in Division Two at Bromsgrove, finishing third with 13 first places behind Walsall and Calverton.
The B team came fourth in Division Three at Stratford with six firsts.
