DANGEROUS shotgun-wielding thugs are at large after attacking, robbing and tying up a Broome couple during a 20-minute ordeal yesterday.
Three white men wearing balaclavas struck in the couple's home on the A450 Worcester road at 6.45am, escaping with cash, jewellery and their blue BMW coupe, which was recovered in Quinton shortly after 9am.
The husband was hit on the head with a shotgun before both he and his wife were tied up. His wife managed to get free and called the police, while he was treated by ambulance crews for grazes on his hand.
One of the raiders has black hair.
Inspector Adrian Todd, of Kidderminster Police, said: "These men are armed and could be dangerous to the public. We advise anyone who knows where they are not approach them but to contact police immediately."
Anyone who saw anything suspicious in Broome between 5am and 7.30am yesterday should telephone Kidderminster Police on 01562 820888 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
