TWO young refugees from Bosnia have appeared in court at Kidderminster accused of spraying a store detective with an aerosol in an attempt to escape arrest.
Security man Benjamin Burfitt chased the girls and had spray directed into his face by both of them, said Clare Linehan, prosecuting.
Sanela Osmanovic, 19, of Mossborough Crescent, Birmingham, and a 17-year-old girl, are charged with a Firearms Act offence of having weapons for discharging noxious liquid or gas and with assaulting the security officer.
They also face a charge of stealing two dresses, worth £16, from the Mind charity shop in Worcester Street.
Their bail applications were refused and they were remanded in custody.
