THE injury jinx struck again for Stourport as they lost two key players during a 26-3 home win over Standard in the Junior Cup second round.
Influential fly-half Richard Dorrell was whisked off to hospital with a dislocated shoulder, while scrum-half Bartholomew Blunt tore a groin muscle.
Coach Ron Hobbs said: "It was a good win but that's been tempered by the loss of two key players.
"We've now got three scrum-halves out with long-term injuries and the only fit scrum-half left in the club is over 40."
Hooker Richard Gough and prop Julian Farmer each scored two tries, while Dorrell converted three of them.
Fixtures, Saturday: Dunlop v Stourport (Midlands Four West South), 1sts away, 2nds home, 3rds v Bredon Star 2nds.
