KIDDERMINSTER'S town centre redevelopment caught its first driver-victim when police saw a car going the wrong way round a new island in Corporation Street.
The driver was arrested after a breath test, magistrates heard.
Paul Whitehouse, 29, of Sutton Park Road, Kidderminster, was banned for a year and fined £100, with £55 costs.
He admitted driving with a breath alcohol reading of 61, against the limit of 35.
