A CAR on its roof in a hedge sparked a huge search when police turned up to find no-one inside on Saturday morning.
Police were called when a Rover coupe was found upside down in undergrowth alongside the A456 near West Midland Safari Park at about 1.20am.
Fearing the driver could be wandering about injured or in shock, officers searched the surrounding area with dogs for more than two hours.
A police spokeswoman said the car's owner, who was safe and well, had eventually been tracked down.
