PUPILS of eight Vale schools will visit an exhibition at Worcester Cathedral to commemorate Anne Frank, the Dutch girl whose moving wartime diary has sold millions of copies and featured in films and plays.
A total of 3,500 schoolchildren from 40 Worcestershire schools will attend the Anne Frank exhibition, between January 7-29.
Among schools whose students will attend are Evesham's St Mary's Catholic Primary, Simon de Montfort Middle and Vale of Evesham Special School.
Pershore schools involved are the High School, Holy Redeemer RC Primary, St Barnabas CE First and Middle and Abbey Park Middle.
The event includes six pavilions, displays on racism, art exhibitions, school displays and a reflection area. Its aim is to promote racial harmony.
The exhibition is being organised by the Diocese of Worcester, Worcester Cathedral, Worcestershire's Local Education Authority and the Racial Equality Council, with sponsorship from other local organisations.
