CHILDREN'S ART AND CRAFT GROUP: On October 5, four girls from the group hostessed a table of eight for a very enjoyable meal they had prepared earlier. Twenty four people altogether supported this event, parents of the girls and members of the WI who support the group in various ways. (One teaches knitting). The Rev John Newcombe, Priest in charge of the parish, was also a guest and he kept score for the quiz which followed the meal. A few games of Beetle were also enjoyed and there was a raffle. The previous Sunday there was a Family Service at Childswickham church when there were a lot of families with children. Some from the group played the chime bars and sang 'God who made the earth'. There are 24 members weekly, and at the moment there is a waiting list.
