AN ABBA tribute band who have been together for 10 years are hoping to impress a Kidderminster audience with an "energetic" show next week - and it is a family affair.

Voulez Vous, who still boast their original line-up, are bringing "The First Decade Tour" to the Wyre Forest Glades on October 27.

The group, who have played more than 3,000 shows in the UK alone, is made up of siblings Linda, Joanne and Alan as well as Linda's husband David, while Alan's wife Jannine produces the light show.

They are working on their fourth volume of ABBA hits - Voulez Vous - A New Decade - featuring live recordings at various UK venues.

And they modestly bill their production as "the world's greatest live tribute show" and biggest one-night touring production - and say they have been capitalising on the younger generation's interest in the 1970s revival.

A group spokesman said: "Voulez Vous share a strong sense of spirituality. This reaches deep into the heart of the production - perhaps this is because, as such a close family, they send a positive message to one another to create an enormous amount of energy on stage."
