MANOR Park Men's D opened their winter league programme with a visit to Kempsey losing three rubbers to one.
Colin Weedon and Ian Elias won 6-1, 6-4 and lost 6-2, 5-7, 2-6 with Barney White and Matthew Farrow losing 0-6, 5-7 and 1-6, 4-6.
The team's next match is against Burway & Ludlow at home on October 28.
