ON Sunday, Bridge Builders, the benefice Sunday School for children aged 5-11 will be meeting in Longdon Vicarage at 11.15am-12.30pm. The theme from the life of King David will be 'The Friend'. As usual there will be songs, readings, games, craft activities and refreshments. New members are always welcome.
The service in St Mary's Church on Sunday will be evening prayer at 6.30pm, using the Book of Common Prayer. There will be three hymns, canticles sung to well known chants and a said psalm. The service includes a sermon on the scripture readings of the day.
