AN explosive evening of entertainment is taking place at Upton Marina on Saturday, October 27.
As well as a spectacular firework display, there will be a bouncy castle, quad bikes, bar and live music.
The evening will also include a fancy dress competition for children. The youngster with the best Guy Fawkes outfit will win £35, with £15 for the runner-up and £5 for third. Judging takes place at 6pm.
The event is being staged by Upton Tourism and Trade Association to raise money for next year's water festival.
Gates open at 5pm, the bonfire will be lit at 7pm and the fireworks start at 7.30pm. Admission will be £3 for adults and £1 for children.
