Papa Joe's All Stars will be appearing at Upton's Memorial Hall on Friday, October 26. The outfit is one of the longest-running traditional jazz bands on the UK scene. Its line-up includes Ken Sims, who played in the Acker Bilk band of the 1950s, and Charlie Connor, who started his career in 1948 with John Haim's Jelly Roll Kings.
