I STRONGLY appeal to the Malvern Gazette to organise an urgent appeal for distressed town clerks.
I know that Malvern residents are already being very generous in paying, in their local taxes, the thousands of pounds incurred by the early retirement of the former town clerk.
I am sure that a street collection would be well supported if Malvern people had any money left and we should bear in mind that Unison does say that a £125,000 pay-off is a just reward for the service he gave us all.
