HEREFORD United will be asked to blitz struggling Scarborough's goal in their Nationwide Conference clash tomorrow (3pm).

The Bulls have fired blanks in their last two matches, which has seen them suffer defeats against Chester City and Boston United.

Now caretaker boss Phil Robinson is looking for his attacking players to be more positive in their Edgar Street clash with the Seadogs, create more chances and grab their third win under his charge.

"The first two games that we played under me against Farnborough Town and Leigh RMI we produced some good football," he said.

"But the Chester game caught them at the worst time with four new signings and a new manager trying to impress.

"They went on to prove they were in a false position with a 3-0 victory against Morecambe who are a good team.

"Even though we worked very hard against Boston and matched them in every department, the longer the game went on we seemed to lack that cutting edge.

"I will be asking us to be more positive going forward and certainly to try and get more goal attempts."

Robinson expects the visitors to scrap for every ball as they seek to find their first win in four games.

"The reports we've had suggest they are a side that work tremendously hard and give everything they've got," he said.

"They're scrapping for survival and fighting for every point and we will have to make sure we match them in every department."

Hereford's young 'keeper Matt Baker, whose last minute blunder, allowed the Pilgrims to sneak three points, has been told to forget it by Robinson.

"The unfortunate thing with goalkeepers is that if you make one mistake you can get punished for it," he said.

"A centre forward can make six or seven errors and get away with it but Matt's just got to carry on because his form has been superb and for most of the season he has been keeping us in games."

Left-back Tony Capaldi from Birmingham City and Kidderminster Harriers midfielder Paul Webb are both available for their last matches before their respective loan periods finish.

Skipper Ian Wright, who suffered a broken nose in the Boston defeat, is due to play but Jimmy Quiggin is doubtful after picking up an Achilles injury in a reserve match against Telford.

Daniel Davidson, ankle, is ruled out.
