THERE is music to please all tastes at the Marrs Bar in Worcester.
The Backdoor Blues Band, appearing tonight (Friday), promise a repertoire different to the usual three-chord, 12-bar pattern and extended solos favoured by many pub bands.
Tomorrow, it's the turn of Juiced, who have been attracting a lot of attention as one of the hottest funk bands on the circuit, while on Sunday, Karen Westerhout, described as a "magical troubadour" from west London, will be playing songs from her debut album Out the Other Side. Cantaloop will be presenting "hip-hop on a higher plane" on Thursday. The band supported Fun Lovin' Criminals on a recent UK tour and have appeared at two Glastonburys.
