LANGLAND Sports took to the field with a team that had a spirit that had been lacking in some of their previous games and produced the shock of the day in the Worcester & District Saturday Division One League.
LANGLAND SPORTS 3, THE VINE 1
Sports took a 3-0 lead by half time, the first being scored by Sean Ormsby with an unstoppable shot in the top right hand corner. The second by Jason Jones, a free kick that beat the keeper from 35 yards and then a corner from Jason Jones saw Chris Goulding rise above the rest to head home.
The Vine did not give in scoring a consolation goal by Ben Morgan.
Langland are still looking for good reliable players for their Saturday side. If you are interested ring Lou Gardiner on (01684) 569705.
