RELOCATED from the usual venue of the Three Counties Autumn Show, the Malvern Branch of the Pony Club held their annual team and individual showjumping competition at Guiness Park Farm, Leigh Sinton recently.

Clear rounds were at a premium in both rings over two testing and up to height tracks built by Martin Cox. The five classes were all full with entries from 76 teams and many individuals, but all went smoothly, for which thanks go to many volunteer helpers.

There was also a good atmosphere created by the competitors, who were only too pleased to be out competing again since being restricted due to foot and mouth, even if they were all slightly soggy by the end of a long wet day!

As the last class drew to a close around 6pm, it was thought that the horses would be jumping by the help of car headlights, especially as the rain had started halfway through the class.

Guiness Park Farm was used by kind permission of the landowners, Mr and Mrs P Ralph.

Class Two, 2'6 - Teams: 1 Ledbury Maroon, 2 Malvern Green, 3 Wyre Forest Widgets, 4 The Brat Pack, 5 North Hereford Eagles, 6 Croome Crackers. Individuals: Brett Gardner - Indian Luck, Brooke Cleave - Lady, James Moffett - Rupert, Meggie Garfield - Rocky, Abigail Brain - Thrifty Lady, Lydia Osbourne - Kizzy.

Class Three, 2'9 - Teams: 1 Malvern Silver, 2 Worcs yellow, 3 North Hereford Nightingales, 4 Ledbury Gold, 5 Ledbury Blue, 6 North Hereford Blackbirds. Individuals - No results available.

Class Four, 3'0 - Teams: 1 Worcs Purple, 2 Wyre Forest Wigglers, 3 North Hereford Swifts, 4 North Hereford Swallows, 5 Ledbury Gold, 6 North Cotswold kestrels. Individuals: Rachel Ridley - Brierley Hill, Laura Pearson - Greylag, Laura Wollen - Sandy, Mary Bisco - Welton Solitaire, Hannah Jones - Bonny Prince Charlie, Victoria Manning - Stormy.
