Poor Kidderminster Harriers gave bottom of the table Carlisle a few problems as they slipped away 1-0 defeat at Brunton Park.
A 49th minute header from the unmarked Richie Foran was enough to separate the sides and leave Carlisle just one point behind Harriers.
With only six goals scored in the Football League this season, Harriers are constantly struggling to find the net.
And Carlisle keeper Peter Keen was rarely called into action in the scrappy encounter.
Harriers, who had previously gone three games unbeaten, now have a big game on Tuesday at home to fellow strugglers York.
