WE have recently witnessed the disgraceful treatment and bankruptcy of Railtrack by the government. Another failure set up by the Tories, many will say. Quite right, it was set up by the Tories, but what was not pointed out at the time was that it was set up because of a EU directive. Another example as to how we are now governed from Brussels.
I would ask why we were not told at the time that orders from the EU were being followed?
