IRISH midfield prospect Daire Doyle has agreed a two-year contract as Kidderminster Harriers begin their summer preparations.
But boss Jan Molby, who returned from a break in the USA at the weekend, is still having to play a waiting game in the transfer market.
And Neil MacKenzie is to decide on the offer of a new deal.
Molby said: "We're very much in the running with some of the players we have targeted but we're not the only ones to have shown an interest in them.
"I'm delighted Daire has agreed the contract. I'm sure he will fulfil a lot of untapped potential. He will improve massively.
"Once he gets fully fit and stronger, he will do OK for us. It was difficult for him on a short-term contract to relax and get on with his game."
Meanwhile, the club are starting a cheerleader group, the Harrier Jump Jets, through dance teacher Sara Williams.
Anyone interested in joining the new recruits can call Harriers on 01562 823931.
Ex-Harrier Andy Brownrigg has linked up with Northwich Victoria in the Conference.
