EVESHAM United boss Phil Mullen is hoping to reverse the disappointment of defeat at the weekend when his side entertain Racing Club Warwick in the Dr Martens Western Division tonight (7.45).
Mullen was still smarting after his side's 2-1 defeat at the hands of lowly Shepshed Dynamo at the weekend.
"We've had great training sessions, done some good things and you think you have turned the corner and then you come up against a team in a fixture you should win and struggle to break them down," he said. "We had too many players off form. You can carry one or two but we had four or five."
"But we've got to sort ourselves out and create our own favours and not rely on other teams. Then if we do get top it because it's down to us and because we are the best side."
Shaun Pratt, Russell Parmenter, Steve Taylor and Scott Mullen are all out injured for Evesham.
