Evesham Utd U-9 21, Peopleton 1
FOR the second time this season United banged in an amazing 21 goals.
Though Peopleton battled hard, they just couldn't contain the Evesham lads, in particular, Jake Hall, who found the net ten times to take his tally to 22 in four matches.
The other goals came from Mark Savage (5), James Bearcroft (2), Olly Scarott (2), Olly Davis and Lou Brown.
Evesham U-9 2, Littleton Jnrs 1
AN out of sorts Littleton missed a hatful of chances against a vastly improving Evesham side.
Captain Nathan Dixon gave Evesham the lead with a superb long-range strike and it was 2-0 courtesy of Andrew Hall's equally impressive effort.
Alex Trinder pulled a goal back in the second half to make for a tense finish but strong defending by Smith and Scarrot and good goalkeeping helped Evesham hang on for a hard-fought win.
Moretonville Hawks 2, Evesham Utd U-11 4
UNITED won for a third time in the Witney League after the Buckingham hosts had threatened a comeback.
Tom Adam Miles took a pass from Scott Andrews to open the scoring after Lance Smith had twice gone close but Hawks hit back to level before half-time.
Jonathan Wein broke away to restore Evesham's lead and an own goal following Ben Parry's inswinging corner made it 3-1.
Moretonville again hit back only for Adam Styles to glance in the clincher.
Warndon 3, Evesham Utd U-15 2
EVESHAM hit back to level from 2-0 down thanks to a brace from Ben Brotherton but a late Warndon winner denied them a point.
Daniel Taylor and Jason Jones were both towers of strength at the back but not even their efforts could rescue a point.
