A MAN who was trapped underneath a bus in Worcester has undergone surgery for multiple injuries.
The man suffered multiple fractures to his limbs and ribs in the accident last Friday, but the injuries are not thought to be life-threatening, a police spokeswoman said today.
The man was in collision with the number 35 bus and was then trapped underneath it, said Jackie Smith, who was one of the passengers on the Brickfields service bus.
The accident took place on Langdale Drive by the corner of Keswick Drive in Warndon shortly after 2pm.
Fire crews lifted the bus off him within 15 minutes and the injured man, who has not been named, was taken to Ronkswood hospital.
In accordance will company policy, First Midland Red is continuing with an investigation into what happened.
