I TAKE exception to the statement "indiscriminate bombing of civilian population" by Sajid Riasat (You Say, October 13).
It seems to me that all steps possible are taken to minimise any civilian casualties, and I am sure there are hundreds of ordinary people like me who feel devastated when there are civilians killed or injured by bombs.
And yet, in an unwarranted act of terrorism, 6,500 innocent people were murdered by fanatics on Sept 11. There is no faith on earth that can justify that act.
We do not wage war on Afghanistan, as he says, nor do we want world dominance. We only wish to bring to justice the people responsible along with those that harbour them.
They are even now advocating acts of terror and murder against us all in the USA and UK.
