REDDITCH have the chance to go second in the table at the weekend after a tight 14-13 win at Bishop's Castle.
A win at home to Upton on Saturday (ko 3pm) could see the Kingfishers two points behind leaders Edwardians with a game in hand depending on other results.
And captain Mark Rose paid tribute to his side after overcoming a difficult pitch at the weekend.
Tries from Kenny Hadley and Andy Irvine, with Lee Williams adding the two conversions, sealed the points.
Second rows Stan Hall and Gary Carter returned but Rose opted not to risk aggravating a leg injury on the surface and played a late role from the replacements' bench.
The captain is hoping to field a similar side against Upton, a side with a strong set of forwards.
