A TERRIFIC performance by County Sports gained three valuable points with a 3-1 Midland Combination Prem-ier Division win against high-flyers Coventry Sphinx.
Sports went a goal down when an penalty kick was awarded after 10 minutes.
The decision seemed to spur the home team on and they deservedly equalised just before half time when Craig Barnett's cross went in.
After the break Sports took the game to Coventry and went ahead in the 70th minute when Carl Fairhurst brilliantly lobbed the goalkeeper.
Coventry tried to level but Sports held firm and sealed the match when Mark Russ-ell's pass found Fairhurst who squared for Simon Judge to fire home.
