IN the tradition of Inspector Morse, Frost and other legendary whodunits the Palace Theatre presents Sleuth.
The Anthony Shaffer play is an intriguing tale of mind games, adultery and spine-tingling suspense immortalised on film starring Laurence Olivier and Michael Caine.
A successful author invites his rival in love to join him for an evening of bluff and double bluff, weaving a web of deceit which ultimately leads to murder.
The production will be performed on Friday and Saturday by Southern Actors, formed eight years ago as a touring company.
Performances start at 7.30pm and tickets cost £7 or £6 (with Reddicard) from the box office on 65203 or the Tourist Information Centre, Alcester Street.
