REDDITCH Operatic Society will be treading the boards as well as the gangplank next month with the Broadway version of Pirates of Penzance.
The company's autumn production will be staged at the Palace Theatre and promises to be a rip-roaring romp with buccaneers and bobbies doing their best to avoid each other while tackling some of Gilbert and Sullivan's best-known pieces.
The spectacular production boasts a budget of more than £12,000 and runs from Tuesday, November 20, until Saturday, November 24, with an additional matinee performance on the Saturday.
Tickets cost £8 or £7 from ticket secretary Ann Duffin on 527363 until Friday, November 2, and then from the Palace Theatre box office on 65203 or the Tourist Information Centre, Alcester Street.
