SPARTAK beat the current league leaders on Saturday, who had been hoping to maintain their 100 per cent record.
Barnt Green settled quickly and attacked Burman at every opportunity. The scoring began on 20 minutes with a great 60 yard run by Simon Brown.
He beat five players and when the Burman keeper dived at his feet, the ball rolled to skipper Terry Wales who slotted home from six yards out.
Spartak totally controlled the remainder of the half and should have gone further head on 32 minutes but Ezra Fuller hit the post from eight yards after good work by Mark Johnston and Campbell.
Fuller again should have increased the lead on 39 minutes but his effort was cleared off the line.
The second half began tightly, with very few chances, and it was a mix-up in the Burman defence that led to Dilaor Miah making it 2-0 to Spartak on 65 minutes.
Burman were handed a lifeline on 71 minutes when a offside decision went their way and they took advantage to make it 2-1. It was 2-2. On 73 minutes when poor marking at the far post allowed a Burman defender to head past John Slade.
Burman had their best spell of the match in the remaining quarter and with a little luck could have gone in front on a number of a occasions.
But it was Spartak who got the all important goal on 89 minutes. A long Neil Harding throw was headed on by Campbell to Ezra Fuller, who headed home from six yards out to leave Spartak's following jumping for joy.
