REDDITCH schools have provided text books to be taken in a container to twin town Mtwara thanks to shipping agents Safmarine.
Five Mtwara residents visited Redditch in July and highlighted an urgent need for school text books, sewing machines, typewriters, tools and stationery at the coastal town, close to the Mozambique border.
The surplus text books are being packed up with the help of firms Maersk Medical and Lewis Springs ready for the container.
