Headless Cross 2 Stratford 3
HEADLESS CROSS matched Town in the first half and after some neat football the ball was played to Hayley Wootton who shrugged off a player to find Elaine Frampton on the right edge of the box to fire into the roof of the net.
Town came out stronger in the second half but could not make an impact on a defence well marshalled by Player of the Match Sharron Porter.
And when Kirsty Robbins won the ball and found Frampton she outpaced the defence and slotted home with ease for her second.
The turning point came after Robbins went off with an injury and the team had to be reshuffled allowing the visitors back into game to eventually win in injury time.
